That One Line (1)
6:36:00 AM
That One Line is a meme created by Goldie of My Book Musings, relating a particular
sentence/phrase/paragraph that you find particularly striking. It should be from a book although quotes related to reading are also
welcome. It doesn't have to be a book that you just finished but can be
something that you've read before and just want to share it.
As I was visiting some blogs, I saw this very interesting meme and well, I immediately want to participate in this. And since this will be my first post for this meme, I'll feature my most favorite line from one of my favorite books.
“Eight full lives,” I whispered against his jaw, my voice breaking. “Eight full lives and I never found anyone I would stay on a planet for, anyone I would follow when they left. I never found a partner. Why now? Why you? You're not of my species. How can you be my partner?”
That line is taken from The Host by Stephenie Meyer. To say that I cried after reading that line is an understatement, I seriously bawled like a baby and to think that it's freaking 2 in the morning at that time. No wonder I ended up looking like a zombie at school after that. -_-" Anyways, it's one of my favorite lines from the said book and for those who still haven't read The Host, well, READ IT NOW! >.< It's seriously one of the best books that existed. You'll surely fall in love with it!
P.S. Credits to Cora Mae for the picture used for this meme.
